Your Dentures May Be Causing You Some Trouble With Swollen Gums
Mouth rinse are the most common prescription given by a dentist for plaque removal to be combined with daily brushing and flossing. Patients with dentures need extra care. Plaque tend to be stuck on the dentures. Dentures need to be kept clean at all times for it may be a haven for bacteria if oral hygiene is not practiced. Uncleaned dentures may result staining, bad breath and swollen gums caused by irritation.
Try to brush all surfaces with a denture care product once a day. Before going to sleep make sure that you take off your dentures out of your mouth and place them in the water or a liquid used to clean dentures.
