Plaque tend to be stuck on the dentures. Dentures need to be kept clean at all times for it may be a haven for bacteria if oral hygiene is not practiced. Uncleaned dentures may result staining, bad breath and swollen gums caused by irritation.

Try to brush all surfaces with a denture care product once a day. Before going to sleep make sure that you take off your dentures out of your mouth and place them in the water or a liquid used to clean dentures.
